EDUCATION IS EVERYTHING – GIVE A UNFORTUNATE PERSON ANOTHER CHANCE AT LIFE

Palms Care Foundation have been working for past 8 years doing Community Development Program in M.I.D.C area, Nerul, Navi Mumbai which is a quarry area here 350 to 400 slum dwellers exist with the basic problem of water , unhygienic area, lack of value education, facing illiteracy , since most of them are laborers and small time workers.

For this Palm’s Care Foundation has been catering to the needs of such people through different welfare projects like: Regularly each Sunday children are accumulated in the community hall, basic Teaching, Value Education, games, Clothes Distribution, Medical Treatment, Picnic and lot more activities are conducted in regular basis, this year English Class & Tailoring class for the ladies is added toward our activities, to enhance the work in the slum, the trust is hiring a room in the slum in order to project more work in coming days.

Palm’s Care Foundation would like to sharpen and improve the life of this community, each year with new creative ideas are undertaken to become more productive with the help of people.

Projection of work in slum will be AID’s awareness campaign, Adult literacy program, puppet show & essay competition and Field trip for the children. In the coming year 2016 we will be focusing upon setting up of computer classes for both boys and girls as well as for the ladies too.

Even we have received two laptops where children will be taught basic computer program and also education materials will be supplied to them. We also have received request for CSR activities from few corporate houses.

Palms Care Foundation has also started Community service Near Kopar khairane railway station, two slum area was located and activity program have started with the help of Xavier’s student and intern who have registered with us time to time.

Partner with us and help the society ,with their help Ration, Clothes, were distributed in the area of Rabale, Kopar khairane slums around 200 People took the benefit of it all the program which is done by Palms Care foundation is uploaded in the site and Youtube.

Palm’s Care Foundation will also take an initiative to distribute notebooks to the children who are not in a position to buy any. And also rainy slippers will also be initiated in the due course.
